Extra potassium is often necessary 

A shortage of potassium easily arises in areas with soft water. 

This demonstrates itself by white, decolourized leaves on top of the plant. Leaves may also have black pinholes. These symptoms are regularly confused with iron. 

It is recommended to add both Ferro and Potassium to compensate / prevent deficiencies
