ADD TWICE THE DEEPEST POINT TO THE LENGTH AND WIDTH AND ADD HALF A METRE (OR 18″ APPROXIMATE) FOR TUCKING THE LINER INTO THE SURROUNDING GROUND (FOR EXAMPLE A POND MEASURING 4mx3m AND HALF A METRE DEEP WOULD BE WORKED OUT THUS 4+1+.5 x  3+1+.5 = LINER SIZE OF 5.5m X 4.5m
