Evolution Aqua Pure Aquarium 25 Balls Pack contains millions of beneficial bacteria that are essential for achieving optimal biological balance. Each ball is packed with these bacteria, which play a crucial role in smoothing out ammonia and nitrite spikes, ensuring a clean and healthy pond. As the bacteria are utilised, the balls gradually biodegrade. To maximise their effectiveness, it is recommended to place the balls directly into your filter media, preferably in a small net bag. They can be positioned between sponges or matting within the filter. For pressurised or bead filters, simply empty the contents of the tub directly into the filter.

When the balls shrink in size, it is advised to replace them, as this indicates that the bacteria has migrated into the water. These balls are particularly useful after using chemicals to help mature filters and during periods of frequent feeding. For regular maintenance of healthy water, it is recommended to use the balls on a monthly basis. Please store the product at room temperature below 4°C, as higher temperatures may render it ineffective. It is important to note that you cannot overdose on these balls, and there is no need to switch off UV Clarifiers while using them.

However, please be aware that certain chemicals and Blanketweed treatments can render this product ineffective. Therefore, it should not be used when treating your pond with such products. If you have used chemicals, employing Aqua Balance Balls after treatment will assist in restoring the biological balance. For aquariums, the recommended usage is 1-2 balls per 100 litres of water.
